Bastion Reasoning Environment (BRE) is a runtime control layer for AI and automation that runs inside your own environment not ours. It was built for teams who want to use powerful models without adding another SaaS vendor that can see everything. BRE gives organizations a way to plug AI into day-to-day work while keeping ownership of their infrastructure, security posture, and logs.

BRE sits between AI models, tools, and your internal systems, enforcing policy on every request and every response. In fully sovereign deployments, all models, retrieval, and policy enforcement run entirely inside your environment. When you choose to call external AI or HTTP services, BRE acts as a governed egress point: access is constrained to approved services, data is minimized where required, and every call is fully logged for audit and investigation. Everything runs under your control (on-prem or in your cloud), with vendor-neutral tooling so you can use the models you already pay for while keeping control of how and where your data is allowed to move.
